Set up IPTV Quebec TV on Roku

Roku is the most closed platform of the nine, so there are two routes: a real player, or casting from a phone.

Add IBO Player Pro

  1. 1.Open the Roku Channel Store, search for IBO Player Pro, and add it.
  2. 2.Launch it and open the Account section. Note the MAC address and the Device Key shown on screen.
  3. 3.On a phone or computer, go to iboproapp.com, open Manage Playlists, and sign in with that MAC address and Device Key.
  4. 4.Choose Add XC Playlist, give it a name, and enter the server, username and password from your order.
  5. 5.Back on the Roku, restart the app and pick the playlist you just added.
Worth knowing. The app has a seven-day trial. After that you pay once at iboproapp.com using the same MAC address and Device Key.

Or cast from your phone

  1. 1.Install Web Video Cast on an Android or iOS device.
  2. 2.Open the menu, choose IPTV, and add your playlist address.
  3. 3.Tap the cast icon and pick your Roku. Both devices have to be on the same WiFi.

Roku deliberately limits which apps can exist on it, so the choice is thin. Samsung and LG TVs are a little more open, and a Firestick gives you every player we recommend for the price of a takeaway. It is worth seeing which channels are included before you commit.
